Equal Vision Records / Super Rap
The release of Josh Eppard’s underground hip hop side project, in addition to completely shaking up the progressive rock world, kick-started the surfacing of the slew of Coheed and Cambria side-projects. Prior to this record (and the four leaked demos of “Conspiracy Theories w/Out Mel Gibson,” “Blueprint, “Methods ‘n’ Test Tubes,” “Super Friends”), we’d only heard Second Stage Turbine Blade and In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3. And The Prize Fighter Inferno’s “I’m Going to Kill You” along with the SSTB b-side “Elf Tower, New Mexico” on Equal Vision’s 2003 compilation sampler Inventing The Scene. Plus Shabutie’s shortened version of the Penelope EP and the full Delirium Trigger EP. And Josh’s first record, 3’s Paint By Number.

Demos of “Blood Machine” and “Run Like Hell” leaked out with a few acoustic demos from In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 in 2004. The full record, compiled of various recordings from over the years, was released in 2006. “I’m Going to Kill You” was also included, however, the song saw a name change. It is now called, “The Missing McCloud Boys.” In May 2008 Claudio posted a b-side on myspace, “From China With Love.” He’s only performed the material live a handful of times, introducing a new song, “The Echomaker” in 2008.My Brother’s Blood Machine (October 31, 2006) Equal Vision RecordsBeaver Records (January 2010)vinyl EP featuring the songs “Erizo Schultz” and “Gears”
