Garry “Starchild” Shider was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997 as the musical director of P-Funk. In addition to the heartwork he did with George Clinton and the Parliament-Funkadelic, Garry performed/composed with Bootsy Collins, Fred Wesley & The JB’s, Eddie Hazel, Bernie Worell, Parlet, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Prince, The Black Crowes, 420 Funk Mob, Drugs… Gary’s contribution to the world of music is immeasurable.
