The Broken Radio (Saturday Nights)

I’m definitely tuning in tonight!

Last month, news of a very intriguing radio show surfaced on the interwebs. It’s called The Broken Radio and promises to exclusively play Coheed and Cambria as well as bands that are related in some form. It’s about time something like this existed! There’s such a deep world of art within the family that extends much further than just Claudio Sanchez, Travis Stever, Mic Todd, Josh Eppard and Chris Pennie! Last week was the inaugural show. The Broken Radio airs Saturday nights at 10pm EST on AM 1230 in Southern New England (the only AM station in Rhode Island) and streams on http://www.wblq.net for the rest of us to lend an ear. According to @BrokenRadio33, tonight they will be giving away a free “Guns of Summer” 7”. That’s the vinyl that Coheed and Cambria released exclusively for Record Store Day last Saturday! The gorgeous picture disc features “Guns of Summer” on one side and a demo version of “Pearl of the Stars” on the opposite. So tune in for your chance to win!
